Getting Started | Frequently Asked Questions
Is therapy right for me?
Therapy is an important decision and investment of time and money; having a "good fit" between a client and therapist is critical for a successful outcome. Making sure you have the therapist that will meet your needs is what matters most to us! We offer Telemental health therapy online as a contact-free way of providing therapy in Georgia. You can find Mrs. Jones Georgia license verification here. (Search for Tawaina Jones LPC008088)
How much does therapy cost?
Our services fees range from $130 - $185 per session. Payment is due at time of service. We accept debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). We also accept the following insurances: Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, Ambetter Amerigroup, Anthem, Beacon Health Options, BlueCross BlueShield, Optum, PeachState, TriCare East, Wellcare, United Behavioral Health, Compsych, Kepro, & Magellan.
Can I use my Insurance- Out of Network Benefits?
Please consider contacting your insurance company. You may have an “out-of-network” benefit which allows you to see any fully licensed therapist. We can provide you with an invoice / receipt so that you have documentation to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
The best way to determine what portion of our fee may (or may not) be reimbursed by your insurance company is to contact them directly by calling the customer service phone number on the back of your insurance card (there is often a separate phone number for mental health or “behavioral health” services information).

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Please log into the portal to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel a session prior to 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged $100 (flat fee) for the session. This is a charge to the client, not the insurance company.
What's the best way to contact your office?
We would love to answer your questions; however, most times we are in session with a client. Please use the contact us link on the home page.
Life's ups and downs can be stressful. The more stress you endure you become numb to your own feelings and those around you. Feelings of irritability, frustration, sadness, feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, and stressed start to creep into your life. You keep pushing forward everyday and conduct "business as usual" until you experience burnout.
Do you feel exhausted even after getting enough sleep?
Do you find yourself getting short or rude with people?
Do you often forget to eat?
Are you forgetting important commitments?
Have your energy level been low lately?
Do you feel like you have to be the strong one all the time?
These transitions give us an opportunity learn about our strengths and reconsider what we want out of life. Exploring ones values and belief system in a therapeutic alliance can result in a sense of renewal, stability, increased self-esteem/self-worth, and more life satisfaction.
